I am 44.64% obsessed with English Music.

now i'm doing a facebk quiz on what twilight character i am (wich i've taken countless times b4, but i cant help it! its so fun XD) i got rosalie! impossible. i'm not even as pretty.

now its time for another facebk quiz! which of the 3 chipmunks are you? based on alvin and e chipmunks! XD i got simon!!! hahaha so predictable.

okokok, b4 u kill me, i shall tell u abt taiwan!!!

here's a list of things that i didnt know abt taiwan:
1. it has mountains (i was quite unaware of e geography)
2. its traffic lights have e timing thing u see on e singapore pedestrian crossings. they even show e timing when e car stops at a red light.
3. its completely dangerous to cross e road. it is possible to survive a near-death incident with a motorcycle, then die of a heart attack a minute later. i nearly died of both.
4. it has way too many motorcycles. u can see at least 20 parked on almost every street, and abt 200 maneuvering around.
5. it's a shopping paradise!!! woots~ i bought lotsa stuff (will let u know my inventory later)
6. it is way too cold during winter. and it doesnt even snow in taiwan. (it snowed on e mountain we were on, but i didnt see it. or maybe i did, but i didnt know that it was snow. sad. and it was -4 degrees celsius on e mountain. i dont think i want to experience snow anymore.)
7. its pretty. e beach is awesome, even though its too cold to swim. and we went to this bed and breakfast place in hualien, and it was so cool and homey.
8. taipei, taichung and hualien all have night markets. actually, almost everywhere has a night market. e night markets rock!
9. smelly tofu is an upsetting concept. it smells terrible, and has no taste. i was so disappointed. it shud taste as good as durian, if its gonna smell that bad. but to be honest, i never thought that durian smells bad, so if e taiwanese like e smell of their tofu, then okay, they can eat it.
10. taiwanese food is too oily and bland. i got sick after eating it. once i reached singapore and ate maggi mee (and ate only macdonalds and instant noodles in taiwan), i was fine. e 1st thing my mom bought once we reached e singapore airport was plum wine. e 1st thing my siblings and i ate once we reached singapore? instant noodles. delish.
11. e beef noodles are okay. they deserve a try. eat the instant beef noodles, too. just dont eat them consecutively for 3 days. (big mistake.)
12. in taiwan, they let u try all e food, so u can decide if u wanna buy it. there was this place that i went to, my sis and i walked down e entire corridor and tried just 1 piece of cuttlefish fr almost all e cuttlefish stalls. needless to say, we were full by e time we were done. and we bought fr e best stall. it's really too bad that e stall with e cute guy sold pretty bad cuttlefish. my friend's mom bought fr him though, so i guess his charm worked XD
13. its confusing. really. first, i have to force myself to read/speak chinese. then i realize that everything is in 繁体字 and not in 简体字, so i'm stuck with a lot of words. then, i realize that pineapple (for ordering pineapple tarts) is called 鳳梨, not 黄梨. and they dont say 钥匙, just 锁匙. confusing much? then ytd while i was still in taiwan, i was in a cab with kar mun and kristine, and e driver overshot and passed e house. we all momentarily forgot what "stop" was in chinese (停, i know, thanks) and i yelled "STOP!" in english. thankfully, e driver stopped abt 20 paces away fr e house, and we paid him and went inside. whew.
14. singapore is better. enough said. i've had better holidays. maggi mee ftw!!!

okay, now for my inventory. what did i get in taiwan? XD let's see... i'll go in chronological order. (well, try to. and i wont say wat e souvenirs are until i give them all away) brown tights, souvenirs 1, this awesomely cool dark blue mini dress (i'll wear it to prom!), a russian doll (finally!), souvenirs 2 (one is for myself), souvenirs 3, souvenirs 4. haha i practically spent almost all my money on souvenirs for other ppl. i might have to turn them all into christmas presents, cos i have

2. no money

hahahaha! i'd better go do my hol hw now. shux.
