yeah well so i'm not reading any storybook, be it in english or chinese. wow, right? well, yeah i'm bored out of my mind during breakfast now, cos i usually read while i eat. been so bad i read my mom's whole stack of magazines and actually liked them, so it wasn't that bad.

but hello, this is so not e point of this post. i just want to tell u guys, that despite being disappointed so many times because nth ever happens on my bdae (no harry potter related thing like harry's 1st day at hogwarts, or anything), today, i finally found a few things that happen on my bdae!!! so there! (ms ng will now scold me for my use of "unnecessary exclamation marks")

anyway, (yes, i have a newfound love/respect for ms ng, surprisingly) these are e few fun stuff that happen to happen on my bdae...

21 November - False Confession Day
While this day sounds like a lot of fun, exercise caution while participating. Here are a couple of Do's and Don't's as examples:
Don't falsely confess to a crime.
Don't falsely report someone lost, killed or injured.
Don't falsely confess a relationship or love affair.
Do falsely confess to kissing your dog on the lips.

21 November - World Hello Day
World Hello Day was created during the 1973 conflict between Egypt and Israel. you're supposed to say hello to 10 people, improve communication, and somehow along that line, promote global peace. oh well, in any case, it'll be fun to greet random people on the street all day!

21 November - World Television Day
In March 1996, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 21 November as World Television Day commemorating the date on which the first World Television Forum was held in 1996.
for all the crescent history people who love/hate CrezMUN after that positively bitter-in-a-martini-kind-of-way experience, here's a link to read about the MUN part of this celebration. (World Television Day) of course, germany objects... again.

pretty self-explanatory, and i think this is cool.

21 November - World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims
please observe 1 minute of silence and pray for the grieving family members of these victims.

21 November - GINGERBREAD DAY! (:
this is my personal favourite, because i love gingerbread cookies! (hint, hint)

the really cool thing about all of this is that i love, like or really have a connection to all the things that happen on my birthday. making false confessions are really funny, as long as your friends know that you're going to be joking around for the whole day. saying hello to random people would be extremely weird, but undoubtedly fun. also, i'm suganiah and marsiat-trained to go "hello~" when i feel like it. obviously i love my telly, and i cant believe that casey james, e 2nd runner up for e 9th season of american idol didn't own one until recently (this year?) i love tv, because i am a huge fan of glee, and various korean/taiwanese shows. i'd want to ride on a hot balloon any day, yep! and u might be wondering how i could relate to World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, but i occasionally pray that nobody will get hurt in traffic accidents, then branch out all the way to praying that nobody will get hurt running/jogging or while they're at home and holding something sharp. (hey, no one said i wasn't random) and my love for gingerbread cookies is something that the world must know!

the discovery of these events made me happy.
